Be a Friend to the Europe Region WAGGGS! - Help Guiding Grow in Europe

The Friends of the Europe Region WAGGGS, is a new opportunity to help Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting to grow in Europe.

By becoming a Friend of the Europe Region, you can support the Europe Region WAGGGS, You can help Associations to develop programmes which enable girls and young women to acquire the confidence and skills they need to become “responsible citizens of the world.”

The Europe Region WAGGGS now supports more than 60 Associations in Europe, helping them develop educational programmes and training. Since 1990, it has helped to establish 13 new Girl Guide and Girl Scout Associations from Central and Eastern Europe, 2 countries are working towards membership and the Europe Region is developing contacts with a further 2 countries. Therefore, even more girls and young women can have the opportunity to make friends, understand the world around them, and begin taking action to make life better for others.

But everyone needs a little help sometimes, and by becoming a Friend of the Europe Region, you can help WAGGGS do so much more.

Annual membership costs just 150 € (75 € if you are aged under 30) and permanent Life membership costs 1 500 €.
In return you will receive regular updates on the work of the Region, be invited to attend regional and special “Friends “events, and be entitled to wear the special “Friends” pin, showing your support for the Region. Above all, you will be sure that you are helping Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting to grow in Europe.
